Monza: Lewis Hamilton led the third and final practice session on Saturday for the Italian Grand Prix, while championship leader and Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg completed only three laps due to a gearbox problem.
Hamilton clocked 1 minute, 25.519 seconds around the Monza circuit. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was second, 0.412 seconds behind, and Valtteri Bottas of Williams was third, 0.571 back.
However, Hamilton was not pleased. He was heard saying on the team radio that "these brakes aren't very good, man."
Rosberg did not complete a timed lap and the problem with his car came a day after Hamilton missed an hour of practice due to electrical issues.
Still, Mercedes have led all three practices, with Hamilton fastest Friday morning and Rosberg leading the second session.
Qualifying for Sunday's race was scheduled for later.
