SHIMOGA: State BJP president K S Eshwarappa, who had many a bitter exchange with former CM B S Yeddyurappa in the recent past, did a volte-face on Thursday and stated that the latter had been meted out injustice.Addressing reporters here, he said that Yeddyurappa had delivered good governance, but was at the receiving end of his opponents, without naming anyone.The party high command should decide on giving him suitable post, he said. “I will pray to god to give him a good position in the party.”He debunked reports of BJP national president Nitin Gadkari asking for a report from Sanjay Joshi on the political turmoil in Karnataka.On Yeddyurappa’s tour of north Karnataka to take stock of the drought situation, the state party presudent said: “It is better for Yeddyurappa to tour... to know the reality in these areas as he will then submit a report on it.”However, he added: “Not only Yeddyurappa, other party MLAs are also touring. There is no need to read anymore into this matter.”
