KIWR signs pact with ODEPC

KOCHI: The Kerala Institute of Welding and Research (KIWR), a joint venture of Kerala government and the Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT), has signed an agreement with Overseas Development and Employment Promotion Consultant Ltd (ODEPC), a state government undertaking.According to the agreement ODEPC will assist the KIWR students in finding employment.The students of KIWR will get priority in the recruitments conducted by ODEPC for national and international companies. The agreement was signed by Labour Minister Shibu Baby John and ODEPC managing director G L Muralidharan in Thiruvananthapuram.
