Jawans pick a fight at Dhaba, jailed

BHUBANESWAR: Two OSAP jawans of the Seventh Battalion were arrested on Tuesday and forwarded to court for assaulting an owner of a roadside hotel.The jawans have been identified as Prabodh Kumar Parichha and Kubera Digal.According to Chandrasekarpur police, the two had their dinner at a roadside dhaba near Damana Chhak on Tuesday night. They were served a bill of ` 350 by the hotel boy. However, they refused to pay the bill alleging that the amount was inflated.Following a heated exchange, the two jawans allegedly manhandled the son of the hotel owner. They were apprehended while trying to flee the spot. Later they were handed over to the police.The two were suspended and remanded in judicial custody.
