IT raids on tobacco trader

HYDERABAD: Income Tax department sleuths raided the premises of a tobacco trader and his sons in Guntur, Hyderabad and Bangalore on Wednesday.The sleuths were reported to have seized some incriminating documents during the raids. Sources told Express that raids were conducted on the houses of B Kotaiah and his sons.One of his sons stay in Banjara Hills, where incidentally, a famous Tollywood actress, who was raided by IT sleuths a few months ago, also resides which led to the speculation it was the actress who was raided. Sources said Kotaiah belongs to Tanguturu of Guntur and simultaneous raids were conducted in his native, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
