High Court relief to Group-1 Main aspirants

HYDERABAD: The HC ordering notices to Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on a petition seeking re-conduct of Group-1 main exams for 1,004 candidates, has come as a relief to aspirants though they are still awaiting a decision from the APPSC.These candidates did not attend the main exams as they were declared qualified for it just two days before the exam with HC verdict.The candidates demanded the state and APSSC to re-conduct the main exams following HC’s notice.They contended that they would lose the eligibility as most of 1,004 candidates were in the age group of 30 and 35.Speaking to Express, S Jayaprakash Reddy, one of the five who filed a PIL, said they were not given sufficient time to prepare.
