Mumbai: Ahead of the verdict, security has been stepped up outside the heavily guarded Arthur Road prison, which has been housing the lone surviving gunman of the 2008 Mumbai attack.
Today, the special court would not just decide on the fate of Ajmal Kasab but also two Indian suspects -Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed.
"You are well aware that judgment in Kasab case will be delivered from today onwards. We have prohibition on parking of vehicles. People’s movements and doubtful activities are being checked," Assistant Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Vilas Marathe told CNN-IBN.
Vilas Marathe however refused to divulge further details citing security reason.
