BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday directed the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to issue notice within eight weeks to the persons, who have built commercial complexes in Sadashivanagar, a residential area and take action within three months.The division bench comprising Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice Ashok B Hinchigeri, gave this direction after hearing a public interest litigation filed by the Sadashivanagar Residents Welfare Association (SRWA), stating that building commercial complexes in residential areas violates the BBMP rules.
