Exhibition on recent discoveries

HYDERABAD: A special exhibition on 'Heritage Sites and Monuments in AP: Recent Discoveries' is being organised by the Department of Archaeology and Museums marking the World Heritage Week (November 19 to 25) at the premises of YSR Andhra Pradesh State Museum. Several artifacts, including coins of archaeological importance, found by the department in recent excavations are on display at the exhibition.
The APTDC will soon open a cafeteria and a souvenir shop in the State Museum, he said. Achievements of the Department of Archaeology and Museums from 2008 to 2011 was released on the occasion. There is no entry fees for the exhibition.
