THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A joint meeting of the C V Ananda Bose-headed expert committee, appointed by the Supreme Court and another monitoring committee, headed by Justice M N Krishnan, has resolved in principle to start the documentation work on the huge treasure trove in the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple vaults on November 9. The preparedness for the exercise will be scanned and other modalities will be finalised on the next joint meeting of the committees, scheduled to be held on November 4. A final word from the State Government to meet the estimated `1.98 crore expenditure for the exercise has to come by then.Representatives of the Keltron and ISRO, who attended the meeting presented a scheme for the technical backup for the documentation of the valuables and strengthening of security. Representatives of the temple administration were also present in the meeting.“A detailed evaluation was conducted on Saturday. There are many things which have to be performed by the government, temple administration and the empowered committees. The directive is to start the documentation work on November 9,” said Ananda Bose.Govt Ready to Release Funds: MinisterT’Puram: Devaswom Minister V S Sivakumar said here on Sunday that the State Govt would provide adequate money required to carry out the evaluation of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple treasure, once the expert committee submits its project report to the government. “The State Govt has made it clear that once the expert committee appointed by the Supreme Court submits its report, the government is ready to to release the requisite fund. But so far the expert panel had not submitted the report,” he said.
