COIMBATORE: Senior DMK leader and former Tamil Nadu Law minister, Durai Murugan, today said the party would face legally cases registered against partymen in connection with land grabbing and alleged that it was being filed to 'settle political scores'."The party cannot be cowed down by such false cases, being filed to settle political scores," he told reporters after visiting party leaders Veerapandi S Arumugam and J Anbalagan, lodged in the Central Jail here, in connection with land grabbing cases.Both Arumugam and Anbalagan were strictly following the jail manual, without violating any norms and not demanding any thing additional than prescribed in the manual, he said.When it was pointed out that police department has claimed the cases were booked after verifying and going into the genuineness of complaints, Durai Murugan said "whatever may the issue, the party will face all cases legally."Chennai Mayor, M Subramanian, Arumugam's wife Leela, noted satirist, Dindigul Leoni and his wife, accompanied Durai Murugan.
