Cusat students clean up campus

Students and teachers of Cochin University of Science and Technology launched a cleanliness drive to mark Gandhi Jayanthi on Tuesday. It was organised under the aegis of National Service Scheme. The NSS students, coordinators and teachers commenced the cleaning at 8 am. The programme concluded by noon with a meeting in which talks on Gandhiji were given.

The students, teachers and Principal of School of Engineering cleaned their campus. Likewise students of other departments also followed suit. The NSS students have decided to take up other social welfare activities such as creating awareness on AIDS and cancer in villages soon.
