New Delhi: After the request of the prosecution in the Nitish Katara murder case to allow it to summon Bhavna Yadav, a sister of accused Vikas Yadav and key witness Bharti Yadav, the court on Friday summoned Bhavna and two others.
Bhavna, elder sister of Bharti was summoned by a court in Delhi to depose as witnesses in the Nitish Katara murder case in which their brother Vikas Yadav is the main accused.
The two others who have been summoned by the court are UP police Sub-Inspector Anil Samania and a HDFC bank official.
Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur said the three will record their statement on February 1.
Bharti, a key witness in Nitish Katara murder case and daughter of UP politician D P Yadav, had recorded her testimony on November 29 before the court after remaining elusive for two years.
Bharti's brother and cousin Vikas and Vishal are accused of kidnapping and murdering Nitish with whom she allegedly had a romantic relationship.
While Vikas and another accused Sukhdev Pehlwan is in jail, Vishal has been granted bail by the Delhi High Court.
Nitish was allegedly abducted from a wedding in Ghaziabad and murdered by Vikas and his cousin Vishal Yadav who suspected that he was having an affair with Bharti.
