HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has asked the principal secretary (health), director of health services and other officials concerned to put the respective medical officers on a high alert to prevent any spurt in swine flu cases in the state.The chief minister held a reviewing meeting with officials here on Thursday in the wake of 25 swine flu cases being reported from several corporate hospitals and some of them being tested positive.Officials told him that they were monitoring the situation keenly and taking all required steps to prevent any spurt in swine flu cases.The chief minister directed that precautionary measures be initiated forthwith, all vulnerable areas should be put on high alert and medicines, testing equipment, etc made available at all hospitals
