Police have registered a case against a CPI(M) MLA
and a district party leader for allegedly obstructing police officials from
performing their duty during a party march to the police station at nearby
Payyannoor.The cases were registered yesterday against MLA T V Rajesh
and Kannur District CPI(M) Secretary, P Jayarajan and over 200 party activists,
they said.
CPI(M) activists had marched to the police station
protesting against police 'atrocities' on CPI(M) activists.
