MANGALORE: Former CM B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday asserted that efforts to bring back Sriramulu into the party’s fold is still on.Interacting with mediapersons at Dharmasthala, he said that he was still continuing efforts on convincing the former minister to bury his differences and return to the party. He quit the BJP on some misunderstanding, he said, adding that Sriramulu will not join the JD(S) or Congress. Even BJP state president K S Eshwarappa is hoping that Sriramulu will return to the party. On such reconciliatory efforts after acrimonious allegations, he quipped that such incidents were common in politics.“I am ready to accept any decision taken by party seniors,” he said. He denied that he had sought the support of 17 MPs to impress upon party seniors like L K Advani and Nithin Gadkari to make him chief minister again.
