It's raining girls on Shahid Kapoor

The industry's blue eyed boy and the new romantic icon of the youth, surely has a huge fan following amongst the girls.

Apparently Shahid — who is staying at the Taj in Pune and shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj Kaminey — has a huge problem getting to the sets.

As soon as the news of Shahid shooting in Pune reached the campus crowd of Pune, girls have been mobbing and gatecrashing the sets for the chocolate boy's autographs.

Meanwhile, recently the same frenzy was witnessed by the media, when they had a special show for girls for Kismat Konnection in a multiplex in Mumbai. Shahid was mobbed by the girls present there.

Industry watchers say that they have not seen this kind of frenzy for a long time.

Well, it's not surprising, since the young superstar has got three back-to-back solo hits with Vivaah,Jab We Met and Kismat Konnection, and is on his way to super stardom. Way to go Shahid!

It's a double bonanza for the Czarina of Bollywood

It's a double treat for all Kareena Kapoor fans in October. The actress has two releases lined up, Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Returns and Billoo Barber.

Sources reveal that after Jab We Met, Kareena will be attempting a hard core comedy and will be a riot in the film.

Kareena plays the character of Ekta in Golmaal Returns, who is a saas bahu serial addict. Reports are that she is simply amazing!

Around the same time Billoo Barber releases too, that has Kareena performing on an item song. Sources have it, that the song that Kareena dances to is the highlight of Billo Barber.

"Kareena's song is crucial to the story of Billoo Barber. Like her famous song in Don, that people cannot forget similarly people will never forget the Billoo Barber number. Kareena's name will become synonymous with the number," reveals a source.

Come October, and surely looks like the numero uno Czarina is gonna rule the imagination of the nation!

Mr Goody two shoes

In an industry where celebrities are quick to say goodbye to friends and old mates on their way to the top, Shahid is an exception. The actor made it a point to celebrate his childhood friend, Shriram's birthday even while he was shooting recently.

Shahid and Shriram were inseparable childhood friends since 18 years.

A crew member revealed, "Shahid was shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminay in Pune. On August 11 it was Shri Ram's birthday who lives in Bangalore.

Shahid called him to Pune and just told Shri Ram that he had some urgent work and needed him to come to Pune. It was only when Shri Ram came to Pune that he realised that Shahid had thrown a surprise birthday get together for him.

Sources reveal that Shahid had earlier requested Vishal Bharadwaj, and packed up early so that he could spend more time with his friend. Vishal and the entire crew of Kaminay were not only surprised but also moved to see this human side of Shahid."

In fact, Shahid has a lot to celebrate this year with three back-to-back solo hero hits, quite a commendable feat considering that multi-starrers are ruling the roost in Bollywood right now.

All of Shahid's forthcoming films with Vishal Bharadwaj, Yashraj, Ken Ghosh, his dad's Pankaj Kapoor are solo starrers.

The hottest Anarkali ever

The very bold and beautiful Mallika Sherawat plays Paresh Rawal's wife in the comedy- thriller Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam, who is a theatre owner in a small town.

The actress plays the role of Shabnam - a delusional actress. Like a typical small towner, Shabnam has big dreams of making it big in Bollywood.

She feels that she will fill the gap, left by Jaya Bachchan, since there were no actress better than her. But though she is married to Paresh Rawal, she has an affair with Rahul Bose.

Paresh is always suspicious of Mallika as she is young and sensual.

In the movie Mallika has three men chasing her. And even though she is married to Paresh, she enjoys flirting with the other men.

She feels there has to be some passion, some spice after getting married. But somehow the theatre gets involved in the plot to save the country from a conspiracy.

Mallika feels the USP of the film is that it's a lighthearted comic thriller with heavyweight actors who are good in their craft.

The diva adds, "Anarkali has never looked so Hot and Akbar has never looked so cool".
