With a view to prevent any infiltration via the sea route and also to protect beachgoers from anti-social elements, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Thursday announced nine all-terrain vehicles would be provided to the police to patrol, from Marina Beach to the Tiruvanmiyur Beach area.
