Chennai: Suspected child molester William Heum on Wednesday reiterated that he was innocent but the public prosecutor in the case claimed outside the Chennai court trying him that the Dutch national had confessed to his crime.

Heum has been claiming that he has been framed and denied confessing.

"I have not confessed to anything," said Heum, who has been arrested for allegedly uploading child pornography on the Internet, outside the Chennai court.

He has been sent to judicial custody for 15 days after the public persecutor claimed that he had confessed to his crime. He has been interrogated by Chennai Police's cyber crime cell and his bail plea will be heard on Thursday.

He was arrested on November 7 on an Interpol notice for allegedly posting child pornography on the Internet. His bail plea was earlier rejected by a sessions court.

Heum was first arrested in 2002 for sexually assaulting children of an orphanage he used to run in Mahabalipuram.

The prosecution claimed he had confessed to that crime as well.
