His second daughter came to me while I was the Chief Minister seeking help to rescue her mother. She said her mother was not a patient,” said Achuthanandan.VS said, on the request of Lawrence’s daughter, he called up the doctor concerned and asked him to handle the matter carefully. “The  doctor’s reply was astonishing. He said that the woman had been admitted to the hospital at the request of her husband,” VS added.
