New Delhi: A trial court on Monday adjourned the hearing in the twin murder case of teenager Aarushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj till May 16.
The court adjourned the proceedings after delivering a judicial order to hand over a CD and other related documents, which the accused demanded. Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are accused in the case.
May 16 will mark four years since the murders of Aarushi, 14, and her family's domestic help Hemraj.
Nupur and Rajesh are demanding the mobile phone call details of Krishna, Rajkumar and Vijay Mandal, who were initially arrested in the case. The couple also want the statements of the police officers who have investigated the case.
The CBI has given the statement of Data Ram Nanoria, the first investigating officer in the case, to the Talwars. Talwars had asked for call records and narco analysis tests of Krishna as well. The judge made no mention of it in the order.
Aarushi was murdered on the intervening night of May 16-17, 2008 at her Noida residence and the body of the Talwars' domestic help Hemraj was found on the terrace of the house the next day.
