2G scam: CBI questions Raja's relative in jail
CBI questioned Raja's relative Rangarajan who is in jail in connection with the scam.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday questioned former telecom minsiter A Raja's relative Rangarajan in Delhi in connection with the 2G scam.

The CBI is widening the net and questioned Rangarajan, a relative of former telecom minister A Raja who is in jail in connection with the scam.

Sadiq Batcha, promoter of a company called green house and a close aide to Raja, may also be questioned on Wednesday.

Reports say a CBI team is expected to leave for Dubai soon to collect evidence of alleged hawala transactions carried out by Batcha.

The agency is looking into the money trail that allegedly led from Swan Telecom to close relatives and acquaintances of Raja and then to Dubai.
