New Delhi: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan turned 38 today. He was born on February 5, 1976 to Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. He debuted as a hero in the year 2000 with JP Dutta's 'Refugee'. Since then, he is constantly under the watchful eyes of film journalists, and there are very few things which the world doesn't know about him, but on his 38th birthday, we have found out some of the lesser known facts about him.

1. 'Refugee', which is considered as a commercially unsuccessful venture, was the fifth highest grossing film of 2000. However, it was made at a really high budget by then standards.

2. Amitabh Bachchan once gifted a pony to Abhishek Bachchan on one of his birthdays.

3. Junior Bachchan is not unknown with the small screen and its dynamics. He hosted a show called National Bingo Night on Colors in 2010.

4. Like his father, Abhishek also has a knack for producing films. He was the co-producer of award winning film 'Paa'.

5. Abhishek studied at some well known schools in Delhi, Mumbai and Switzerland, before joining the Boston University, but he later dropped out.
