Bigg Boss Telugu 7: How Much Pooja Murthy Earned From The Show Before Eviction

Bigg Boss is one of the most-watched reality shows in India. It is made in Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. The seventh season of Bigg Boss Telugu started on September 3. It is being hosted by Telugu star Nagarjuna, for the fifth time in a row. A total of 14 contestants entered the show, of which many have been eliminated in these seven weeks.

The recent one to get evicted was TV actress Pooja Murthy of Gundamma Katha fame. Pooja had made a wild card entry in the fifth week. She got evicted due to a lower number of votes. According to reports, Pooja’s remuneration per week was Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand; thus, she earned Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand during her two-week stay in the BB house.

After walking out of the Bigg Boss show, Pooja Murthy made some shocking revelations about the show as well as housemates. In a post-show interview with Star Maa, Pooja said that she entered the house to guide people and also expressed happiness that she was evicted from the house. She also expressed her unhappiness over a few housemates and tore their photographs. The Bigg Boss team shared a promo of her interview on Twitter.

Bigg Boss Telugu 7 is currently airing on the channel Star Maa and is simultaneously streamed on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. This reality show has now entered its fifth week. As of now, Kiran Rathore, Shakeela, Damini, Rathika, and Subashree Rayagaru have been ousted from the house.

The new season has become a huge hit among the audience. Reportedly, the launch event of the show received a record rating. Recently, the Bigg Boss team shared an update related to the show, which said that around 5.1 crore viewers watched the show in the first week. Apart from that, around 3 crore people watched the launch event of this show as well. Star Maa also informed the viewers that Bigg Boss Telugu 7 has an 18.1 (TVR) rating.
