How to Edit a Reddit Post on PC or Mac

Go to your Reddit profile.

Click your username at the top-right corner of Reddit and select Profile. This takes you to your own profile, where you'll find your posting overview.

Find the comment you want to edit.

Click the COMMENTS tab to filter your history to display only comments. You can also edit the posts you've created by switching to the POSTS tab.

Click the three dots on the comment.

You'll see these three horizontal dots at the bottom of your comment. A menu will expand.

Click the "Edit" option."

This opens your post for editing. You can now use all of the available editing tools to make changes to your original post. You can't edit the title of a post. If you've made a mistake in your post title, you can delete the post, and make a new one on the same subreddit. You can only edit text posts. Reddit doesn't allow you to edit an image you've previously posted.

Edit and save your post.

When you're finished making changes, click Save Changes. The new version of your comment will now appear on its original post.
