This wikiHow teaches you how to change a Facebook group's description from your iPhone or iPad. You must be an administrator to change a group's description.
Open Facebook. The app has a blue icon with a white “f.” You'll typically find it on your home screen.
Go to your group. To find it, type its name into the search bar at the top of the screen, then select it from the search results.
Tap Info. It's beneath the group's cover image.
Tap Edit Group Settings.
Type a description. Tap the “Description” box, then type your new description.
Tap Done. It's at the top-right corner of the screen. The new description is now live.
