- On a computer, hover your mouse over your profile photo and select "Add or Switch Accounts" > "Add another account" > "Create an account."
- In the mobile app, tap your profile picture and go to "Manage accounts" > "Add account" > "Create an account."
- To switch between accounts, click or tap your profile picture and select the other account.
Creating an Account on a Computer
Log in to your Yahoo Mail account. To do so, go to https://login.yahoo.com/ in a web browser. Enter your Yahoo username or email and click your Next. Then enter your password and click Next. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you may need to enter the code that displays on your phone or in your recovery email address.
Hover the mouse over your profile picture. It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. If you have not set a profile picture, it will be a circular icon with your initial in the middle.
Click Add or Switch Accounts. It's in the drop-down menu. This displays a screen that allows you to switch accounts or add another account.
Click Add another account. It's the large button at the bottom of the menu.
Click Create an account. It's the large purple button at the bottom of the menu. Alternatively, you can create a new email using your Google account. To do so, click Continue with Google.
Fill out the form and click Continue. You will need to enter your first and last name, an email alias, a password, and your birthdate. Click Continue when you are finished.
Enter a recovery phone number and click Send Code. This is to help secure your account. A code will be sent to your phone via text message.
Enter the code and click Continue. Once you get the code, enter it on the Yahoo web page and click Continue. This will confirm your account and sign you into your new account.
Switch between accounts. There are two ways you can switch between accounts: From Yahoo's main page, hover over your profile icon in the upper-right corner and click Add or switch accounts. Then click the account you want to switch to. From your email inbox, hover over your profile icon and click the email address you want to switch to.
Creating an Account on Mobile
Open the Yahoo Mail app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. It has a purple icon with a white envelope. The Yahoo Mail app is available for free from the Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iPhone and iPad.
Tap your profile icon. It's in the upper-left corner. If you have not set a profile icon, it will be a circular icon with your initials. This displays the Accounts menu.
Tap Manage Accounts. It's next to an icon that resembles a person. Tap this option in the Accounts menu.
Tap Add account. It's the second option in the Manage Accounts menu.
Tap Create an account. It's the large button at the bottom of the screen.
Fill out the form and click Continue. You will need to enter your first and last name, an email alias, a password, and your birthdate. Click Continue when you are finished.

Linking Accounts on a Computer
Log in to your Yahoo account. To do so, go to https://login.yahoo.com/ in a web browser. Enter your Yahoo username or email and click your Next. Then enter your password and click Next. If you already created a separate Yahoo account (or a Gmail, Outlook, AOL, etc.), you can link it to your existing Yahoo account to receive mail from both Yahoo email addresses in one location. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you may need to enter the code that displays on your phone or in your recovery email address. If your Yahoo account is saved to your web browser, click the Yahoo account you want to sign in to and then enter your password.
Click the envelope icon. It's in the upper-right corner next to your profile image. This opens your Yahoo email.
Click Settings. It's in the upper-right corner next to an icon that resembles a gear.
Click More Settings. It's at the bottom of the Settings menu.
Click Mailboxes. It's in the menu bar to the left.
Click Add mailbox. It's the purple button below your primary Yahoo email. This option allows you to add another email to your Yahoo account.
Select an email provider. If you want to link your other Yahoo account, click Yahoo. Alternatively, you can link a Google, Outlook, AOL, or other email account.
Enter your secondary Yahoo address and click Next. Enter it on the bar where it asks you to enter your email address. Then click the blue button that says Next.
Enter your password and click Next. This signs into your alternate Yahoo account and links the mail box with your current Yahoo account. You can now receive emails from both accounts in one inbox.
Linking Accounts in the Mobile App
Open the Yahoo Mail app. It has a purple icon with a white envelope. Tap Add account. It's at the bottom of the menu.
Enter you secondary Yahoo address and click Next.
