Gathering Materials

Find a table to do your work on. You can use an old coffee table, buy a cheap new one, or create one from scratch for your artwork. A good suggestion is to use wood for the best outcome, but one can also use glass. Find a space for you to work in.

Gather your materials. See Things You'll Need below for reference.
Creating a Border and Mixing Colors

Lay the tarp on the ground and place the piece on top. Make sure the surface is clean of any dirt or dust. Get the painters tape and create a border 3-4 mm higher than the surface. Cover all the edges and with your hands, push the tape outwards so it does not collapse on the surface. Make sure the tape is tight on it so that the resin does not seep into it.

Mix the resin into the hardener with a 1 to 1 ratio, or according to what the instructions on the resin bottle tells you to. Make sure you are wearing gloves for the rest of the process to be safe.

Pour the mixture into six plastic cups, measurement of 1 cup or 250 ml. You will need three shades of blue (one light, even, and dark), sandy yellow, light brown, and white, while still leaving some of the clear mixture left just in case. There does not need to be an even amount of resin before mixing the resin coloring into each cup.

Place a small sample of the resin into the 1 fluid oz mixing cups to test out the color you want. Once you've found your colors, mix it into larger portion of resin you had set up. 2-6% of the resin's weight should be the amount of coloring added. Try eyeballing it to about 2-3 drops of the color. Make sure to mix for a minute, so the color is incorporated well and so there are no air bubbles. If you don't want a beach look and just want an ocean one, then you don't have to create the yellow and light brown resin. If you are sure about the color you want, then skip this step.
Planning out Appearance of Your Seascape

Draw out your idea beforehand or roughly calculate where you want to the waves to meet the sand.

Place the yellow resin towards the edge of one side of your canvas or wooden table. Using your hand, spread out the color on the side you want it to be.

Place the light blue resin you have above the yellow (not on top but in front of empty space).

Take the second shade that is just above that light blue and spread out on the opposite end of the yellow. Do the same with the final darkest shade of blue you have above the midtone blue. Mix the blues the way you want it. A good suggestion would be to place white paint on the transition points of the colors, but you can mix all the blues once poured on the surface however you like.

Add the brown resin on the sand and mix that into the yellow resin.

Pour the white resin right between the blue and yellow resin and do not blend the white with the your hands (so only pour enough that you want).

Use the blow dryer to create waves. Blow it directly down towards the white resin, then towards the ends of the white (the already thinned out part) resin to create even transition.

Let it dry for 48-72 hours and take off the tape.
