This wikiHow teaches you how to convert an XML file to a Word document when you’re using a computer.
Open Microsoft Word. If you have Windows, it’s in the Windows Start menu in the Microsoft Office group. If you have a Mac, it’s in the Applications folder.
Open the XML file you want to convert. To do this, click the File menu, select Open, then double-click the XML file. You can also open the XML file by double-clicking its name in any folder on your computer.
Click the File menu. It’s near the top-left corner of the screen.
Click Save As.
Click Browse. This opens a file browser window.
Select Word Document from the “Save as type” drop-down menu. This menu may be called “Format” on some computers. It’s at the bottom of the file browser window.
Click Save. The file is now converted to a Word document.
