Hollywood actress Robyn Bernard was found dead in the US in the wee hours of March 12. The actress was 64 years old and was best known for her role in the soap opera ‘General Hospital’. As per international reports, Bernard was found dead in an ‘open field behind a business’ in San Jacinto, California. The news was confirmed by Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by TMZ.
It is said that she was declared dead at 4:08 am on Tuesday. Bernard was identified using her finger prints. It is reported that the police received a call regarding a death investigation. “The Riverside County Coroner says no cause of death has been determined yet. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Wednesday, but toxicology will take several weeks,” TMZ reported.
Born in Gladewater, Texas, Robyn Bernard took up small parts in the 1980s. She starred in TV shows such as Diva, The Facts of Life, Simon & Simon, and Tour of Duty. However, her big break came in 1984. She signed on a crucial role in General Hospital. She played the role of Terry Brock on the show and starred in over 140 episodes. She was last seen in the show in 1990.
Bernard’s last credited role dates back to 2002. She was seen playing the role of a psychologist in Voices from High School. She moved away from the spotlight after. She is reportedly survived by Jerry Wayne Bernard and two sisters Crystal and Scarlett.
