Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have joined forces for the fourth time as Miami PD detectives. The celebrity duo is ready to feature in the upcoming film Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Directed by Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, it is the fourth sequel to the popular movie franchise Bad Boys. The action-comedy follows the journey of Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) who solve illegal drug trading in Miami, landing in multiple adventures. Recently, the makers unveiled the trailer of Bad Boys 4 or Bad Boys: Ride or Die, sending the masses into a frenzy.
The trailer opens with Will Smith speeding in his car. Beside him was Martin Lawrence, who continued pleading with Smith to slow down but in vain. The scene soon shifts to an action sequence where Lawrence makes a narrow escape from a goon, followed by where it all started. At a family gathering, Smith and Lawrence find out that the late Captain Howard of the Miami PD “was working directly with drug cartels for years." Refusing to believe the news, Smith claims that Howard is being framed and undertakes a journey with Lawrence to seek the truth and solve the matter.
Laden with multiple action sequences, death-defying stunts, flying cars, gun fights, and heavy explosions, coupled with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s excellent comic timing and acting prowess, Bad Boys: Ride or Die promises to be a nail-biting watch till the end. The detective duo would embark on another dangerous mission, this time for the sake of their Captain.

Produced under the banners of Sony Pictures, Bad Boys: Ride or Die also stars Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane, Tasha Smith, Joe Pantoliano, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Paola Nunez, Melanie Liburd, and Jacob Scipio in important roles. According to a report by Variety, comedian-actress Tiffany Haddish has also been roped in for Bad Boys 4 in a mysterious role. Haddish shares a close equation with Will Smith’s family, especially after she co-starred with Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith in the 2017 film Girl’s Trip.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die is slated to hit the silver screens on June 7.
