London: Jack Wilshere is so confident that Arsenal will finish above Tottenham in this season's English Premier League that he has made a bet with rival fans. The Arsenal midfielder says he will donate 3,000 Pounds to charity if the Gunners finish lower than Tottenham.
Third-placed Tottenham lead Arsenal, in seventh, by three points. The 19-year-old Wilshere was only three the last time Tottenham trumped their north London rivals.
The England international took to Twitter to challenge Spurs fans to the bet, saying he expects Tottenham fans to reciprocate if Arsenal come out on top. Wilshere asked them to each donate a Pound to his chosen cause if Arsene Wenger's side come out on top of their north London rivals at the end of the campaign.
Wilshere tweeted: "All Spurs fans buzzing that they are ahead of us in the league (for once). Its a marathon, not a sprint! I tell you what at the end of the season if Spurs finish above Arsenal I will give £3000 to charity."
"If Arsenal finish above Spurs every Spurs fan that follows me must send me a Pound each and I will give it to @Jack_Marshall_ charity!"

The charitable wager has also gained the backing of his manager Wenger, with the French boss suggesting his side are ready for a challenge.
"Jack made a contest," Wenger told the club's official website. "The good thing about that is that a charity will get some money."
"He said that the supporters of Tottenham will have to pay £1 each, so because they have many, I hope the charity will get a lot of money and Wilshere will not have to pay anything."

Wilshere proposes giving to the Jack Marshall Brain Tumour Fund - a charity supporting children with cancer.
The 19-year-old English midfielder has yet to feature for the Gunners this season, and while Wenger insists he is making progress in his recovery from an ankle injury, Wilshere will not be ready for first-team action until January.
"The news is good but he will not be available before the end of January," Wenger said.
