English Premier League side Liverpool are making a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro in order to bolster their forward options.
PSG spent a fortune signing Edinson Cavani from Napoli and currently find themselves deficit of funds. The Daily Star reports Liverpool are looking pounce on this opportunity bidding for the French international.
With Cavani now in the wings, it would be tough for the 26-year-old to find a place in the line-up as the the duo of Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is most likely to take control.
Being in a fix regarding the whole Luis Suarez saga, the Reds are looking in Gameiro, a possible replacement for the Uruguayan.
Gameiro has 23 goals from 78 games ever since coming over to Parc des Princes from Lorient in 2011.
