Arsenal's Nasri set to miss Udinese clash
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Manchester City.

London: Arsenal are to allow Samir Nasri to remain in London for the club's Champions League play-off tie against Udinese to prevent him being cup-tied for the competition ahead of his potential move to Manchester City, according to The Guardian.

The 24-year-old has just one year left on his contract with the Gunners and has been linked with a move to the Eastlands club throughout the summer.

City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed after the 3-2 victory over Bolton Wanderers on Sunday that he expects to wrap up a deal for the Frenchman, but admitted that it would be a "big problem" if he featured in the north London club's second leg against Udinese.

The former Marseille midfielder told manager Arsene Wenger that he would like to be excluded from the squad, and the boss is thought to have respected the player's wishes.

Arsenal have a 1-0 lead heading into their second leg against Udinese on Wednesday night.
