Instead, Cadogan recommends using Greek yoghurt as a core ingredient in dessert recipes. Its tangy flavour and creamy texture make it an excellent addition to a variety of sweet dishes. What sets Greek yoghurt apart from regular yoghurt is its straining process, which removes excess whey and results in a thicker consistency and higher protein content.

  • First, pour the yoghurt into a large bowl, then whisk in the eggs. Once the mixture is silky smooth, sprinkle in the cornflour and whisk until thoroughly combined and smooth. Transfer the batter to the cake pan and bake for 1 hour, or until the top turns golden brown.
