Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations every year mark the coming together of Bollywood’s favourite stars. Nita and Mukesh Ambani welcomed the film fraternity into their home to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
With an array of stars gracing the occasion, we couldn’t help but notice the spirit of festivity in the air. Dressed in their finest ensembles, the saree drape seemed to be a favourite among the Bollywood divas.

Embroidered, shimmery and vibrant colours dominated most of the sarees adorned by the gorgeous actresses. Ananya Panday, Alia Bhatt, Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, Athiya Shetty, Manushi Chhillar and Madhuri Dixit Nene among others.
Ananya Panday looked stunning in a red saree designed by fashion designer Arpita Mehta. The shimmery red saree with an embroidered gold border was paired with a matching long-sleeved blouse with a deep neckline. We love how the saree was draped on her and accentuated her curves to the T. The sleeves featured Arpita’s signature mirror drop tassels. The best thing about this ensemble is the blouse which is versatile and can be styled with a lehenga skirt too. Ananya aced the saree look and she does set the tone for the upcoming bridal season.

Kiara Advani who graced the occasion along with her husband and actor Sidharth Malhotra, looked surreal in a lime green saree with an embellished silver border designed by fashion designer Jayanti Reddy. The rich textured border elevated the bright shade of the saree making it a regal statement piece. Paired with a sleeveless embellished silver blouse, Kiara looked like royalty.

Giving the colour red a prominent place in her style was Athiya Shetty, who looked gorgeous in the hue. Elevated with gold threadwork forming an intricate design on the saree, Athiya paired the saree with a cold-shoulder embellished gold blouse.

Giving her close friend Ananya company in the saree game was Shanaya Kapoor who exuded grace and glamour in an exquisite ivory saree designed by Manish Malhotra. The stunning saree featured crystal beads placed all over the drape giving it an illusion of water droplets. She paired the sheer saree with a sparkling blouse. Encrusted with shimmery detailing, the blouse has our attention for its unique pattern. Also seen rocking the ivory colour were Rashmika Mandanna and Manushi Chhillar.

While some of the stars chose to keep it traditional such as Rekha, Bhagyashree and Mouni Roy, some including Disha Patani gave a contemporary twist to their sarees. Disha paired her saree with a bralette. With a wide range of saree to choose from, this festive season make a statement in your favourite six yards of sheer elegance.
