UPSC CMS, IES, ISS 2024 Exam Dates Announced; Check Schedule
The UPSC CMS exam will be conducted in two sessions on July 14. The Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service (IES/ISS) Examination will be conducted on June 21, 22, and 23 also in two shifts.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the timetable for the Combined Medical Services Examination (UPSC CMS 2024) and the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination (UPSC IES/ISS 2024). Candidates intending to participate in these examinations can access the detailed timetables on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.

On July 14, the UPSC CMS exam will be conducted in two sessions. During the first session, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, candidates will sit for the General Medicine and Paediatrics (Paper 1) exam. In the second session, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, candidates will participate in the Surgery/Gynaecology and Obstetrics/Preventive and Social Medicine (Paper 2) examination.

The Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service (IES/ISS) Examination will be conducted on June 21, 22, and 23 in two shifts. The first shift will begin from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM, while the second shift will take place from 2:30 PM to 5.30 PM.

Second Shift: General Studies (Descriptive)

June 22:

First Shift: General Economics-I (Descriptive)

Second Shift: General Economics-II (Descriptive)

June 23:

First Shift: General Economics-III (Descriptive) and Statistics –III (Descriptive)

Second Shift: Indian Economics (Descriptive) and Statistics – IV (Descriptive)

It’s important to note that students are strictly prohibited from using mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices such as pen drives or smartwatches, cameras or any other communication devices during the exam, regardless of whether they are turned off. Failure to adhere to these regulations may result in severe repercussions, including being barred from participating in future exams.

The UPSC CMS exam is organized by the commission to hire selected candidates as medical officers in various government organizations such as the Indian Railways, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Indian Ordnance Factories and New Delhi Municipal Council.

The UPSC IES is a nationwide examination conducted to recruit candidates for various governmental sectors including power, PWD, telecommunications and railways, among others.
