The Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) will release the UP NEET UG 2024 round 2 merit list on September 20. This will be followed by the choice-filling process from September 23 to 26. Seat allotment results are anticipated by September 28, with admissions scheduled from September 30 to October 5. Candidates pursuing MBBS and BDS courses can register on the official website at upneet.gov.in.

Candidates can download the allotment letters and the process of admission begins will take place on September 30, 2024, October 1, and October 3 to October 5, 2024.

UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Documents Required

Candidates will need the following documents for the UP NEET UG 2024 admission process:

— Domicile Certificate

The UP NEET UG exam refers to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical programmes conducted in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). It is part of the nationwide NEET UG exam organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET UG is the only entrance exam for admission into undergraduate medical programs (MBBS, BDS, and other allied courses) across India.

Only those who have successfully cleared the NEET UG 2024 are eligible to register for the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling procedure. Admission is granted to 85 per cent of the state quota available in government medical colleges. The admission is also available for the 100 per cent of MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges based on the merit list.

Candidates who have already registered and paid the application fee are not required to apply again. New applicants must pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 and deposit the security amount: Rs 30,000 for government seats, Rs 2 lakh for private medical college seats and Rs 1 lakh for private dental college seats.
