Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the exam schedule for the High School and Intermediate board exams of 2024. The exams will begin on February 22 and end on March 9. The UPMSP Class 10 and 12 exams will be conducted under two shifts. The primary shift will be in the morning from 8 am to 11:15 pm whereas the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
The practical test dates for the UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations are between January 25 to February 9. The UPMSP has decided to tighten their security for the upcoming exams. The Examination centres will be allocated online as per the guidelines of UPMSP.
Strict measures have been put in place to prevent cheating in examinations. This time the copies have been numbered along with the security code that will be also printed on them. Now, the board has also issued instructions to set up a command and control centre for the UP Board Exams 2024.
Prior to the upcoming exam, control rooms have been established in the District School Inspector and Camp Office, Lucknow to monitor the centres by the board. This time, the command and control centres will be set up in the regional office for monitoring and maintenance of question papers.
The IP addresses of the Digital Video Recorders ( DVRs) of the examination centres falling within the office area will be linked to the command centre. They will be monitored 24 hours by the UPMSP.
Apart from this, training will also be given to the centre administrators for the implementation of other tasks which include maintenance of question papers, opening of strong rooms and details of question papers. A total of 10 officers from the regional offices have been designated as master trainers to impart training to the invigilators and other administrators.
Each regional office will have two trainers who will give training to three administrators selected by the district school inspector between January 21 to 25.
