Telangana’s Department of School Education will be closing the application window for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024 today, April 20. The TS TET 2024 will be held in two sessions from May 20 to June 3. The first shift will run from 9 am to 11:30 am and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Applicants who meet the prerequisites should go to tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/ to complete the application process.

Candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies are eligible to take the TS TET 2024. The hall tickets will be available for download starting May 15. Previously, the TS TET certificate was valid for seven years, however, it has recently been extended for a lifetime.

TS TET 2024: How to apply

To complete the TS TET 2024 application form, candidates can adhere to the instructions provided below.

Step 1: Go to the official website, tstet2024.aptonline.in.

Step 2: On the webpage, click ‘Online Payment.’

Step 3: Make a payment and proceed to the ‘Online Application’ procedure.

Step 4: Enter your login credentials, including payment information.

Step 5: Complete the application form and upload any relevant documentation.

Step 6: Download the TS TET 2024 form and print it for future reference.

The government has also opened the application correction window for the 2024 TS TET. Applicants who completed the TS TET application forms are still able to edit their information on the official website. To log in and modify the application form, candidates must use their login credentials, which include their registration number and date of birth.

To pass the TS TET, applicants in the general category need to score 60 per cent or higher, while candidates in the SC, ST, or differently abled categories need to score 40 per cent or higher. Additionally, candidates from the OBC category need to score 50 per cent or higher.

TS TET 2024: Application Fee

Candidates who choose either Paper 1 or Paper 2 must pay an application fee of Rs 1000. Those who plan to take both Papers 1 and 2 need pay Rs 2,000 to register for TS TET 2024.
