IPS Shubham Jain Suggests Students, Applying For Civil Services, Work On English

Students should not be afraid of the English language but rather make it a habit. The more you learn and try, the easier it will become. “Prepare for civil services in a planned manner and have faith in your mind.” This was said by Shubham Jain, IPS of UPSC batch 2022 and currently undergoing training in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He was speaking at the Pratibha Samman ceremony held under the joint patronage of the district administration and Anna Foundation at the Information Centre auditorium.

Secretary of Anna Foundation, Dr Kamal Meena, said that in this ceremony, besides the toppers of the SELF programme, the toppers of classes 10 and 12 of government schools of the district were also honoured. As part of the career guidance seminar, IPS Shubham Jain and President Anna Foundation Hariram Chaudhary discussed the strategy for various examinations.

The District Officer of Secondary Education Strict Administration Jhunjhunu, Deputy Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department Pawan Poonia and District Public Relations Officer Himanshu Singh participated in the programme.

The district administration officials interacted with the students on various topics including the importance of newspapers. Dr Rajni Morwal, Dr Narendra Godara, Kamlesh Meena, Mukesh, Barrister Amit, Sonam Goswami, Prakash Verma, Mamta, Komal Goswami and hundreds of students from different schools along with teachers and family members were present during the event.

To succeed in this highly competitive UPSC exam and secure a coveted position in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) or other elite civil services, it is imperative to have a well-crafted preparation strategy that encompasses both hard work and smart planning.

The UPSC CSE examination has three stages – the Preliminary stage, the Mains and the Interview. Candidates must take time to analyze each stage and develop a plan of action before beginning their preparation.
