CUET UG 2024: ICAR Opens Registrations for B.Sc and B.Tech Agriculture Courses
Applications for the CUET 2024 exam are currently open and will be accepted until March 26.

Admissions to undergraduate programmes in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) All India Quota seats will now be filled via the CUET UG 2024 exam. The exam is scheduled from May 15 to May 31. Applications for the CUET 2024 exam are currently open and will be accepted until March 26.

Interested candidates can find the information bulletin for CUET UG 2024 on the NTA website and for CUET (ICAR UG) 2024 on the official ICAR website at www.icar.org.in.

The CUET UG 2024 exam is accepting applications for 12 different programmes under the ICAR-AU system. Each of these programmes spans four years. The admission will be based on the merit rank in CUET (ICAR UG) 2024.

The programmes include B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences), B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Sericulture, B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering, B.Tech. Dairy Technology, B.Tech. Food Technology, B.Tech. Biotechnology, and B.Sc. (Hons.) Natural Farming.

While online counselling, the ICAR website at www.icar.org.in will display available seats in the 12 different programmes. The programmes are offered by relevant Agricultural Universities under the ICAR-AU system. For the academic year 2023-24, a total of 5221 ICAR All India Quota (AIQ) seats were available for admission.

Candidates can download the Information Bulletin of CUET UG 2024 from the NTA website for the instructions. Whereas for specific instructions regarding Agriculture and Allied Sciences programmes, the Information Bulletin of ICAR-UG can be downloaded from www.icar.org.in.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have completed their 12th examination, with a minimum of three subjects selected from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses.

2. Candidates who appear for subjects other than those they took in their 12th standard will not be eligible for counselling/admission and will be rejected.

3. They are required to attempt only those subjects (a minimum of 3) listed in the Application Form during the examination.

4. Applicants are required to be equipped with the admission criteria before submitting the online application form for CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024. Factors including upper age limit, subject eligibility for certain programmes, gender-specific preferences, and more should be considered as per the university criteria.
