Bheem Kumar from Purnea, Bihar has managed to clear the Bihar Staff Selection Commission exam and will work in the General Administration Department. His father Shankar Prasad Singh expressed joy at the accomplishment of his son. The father said that he aspires to see his son become an officer.
Not only this job, Bheem has managed to pass two other government job exams as well. He first succeeded in Group D category exams in the Railway and the Commerical Clerk exams as well. He is now preparing to clear the UPSC Civil Service exams. Bheem interacted with News18 regarding his third consecutive win in the exams related to the government job.
Bheem said that earlier, he also used to serve the people and the nation. At that time, however, he was able to work for the public through Railways. Now, he will be able to help people by having a more direct interaction with them. Bheem said that at present, he is working in Assam on a level-one post in the Railways. He has also received the joining letter for Ticket Commercial Clerk. He will, however, reject these job offers and work in the General Administration Department of Bihar Government.
Bheem shared that his father Shankar Prasad Singh earns his living by working as a sharecropper. According to him, he was brought up in impoverished conditions and his family faced problems regarding food, ration and other resources as well. This prompted him to study hard and take up a job to support his family. His father Shankar Prasad Singh used to encourage his son as well. Bheem said that with the support of his family and friends, he came to Purnea and did free coaching for 3 years.
Bheem added that the youth should never let their poor financial circumstances become an obstacle in their studies. He advised them to cut down their expenses in the pursuit of their ambition. Bheem is also preparing for the civil service examinations.
