Abhishek Kumar, Khanzadi And Others Come Together For Ankita Lokhande’s Film Swatantra Veer Savarkar; Watch

It was a mini Bigg Boss 17 reunion when Abhishek Kumar, Khanzadi, Isha Malviya, and Ayesha came together to show their support for Ankita Lokhande as her film Swatantra Veer Savarkar was released. Rashami Desai was also seen at the theatres. All of them pose for the camera. To note, Randeep Hooda is seen as the lead actor in the film.

In the video, shared by Viral Bhayani, we can see Abhishek Kumar hugging Khanzadi at the theatres. Ankita along with her husband Vicky Jain is also present at the theatres. Recently, at an event, Ankita shared that Randeep felt she was ‘too pretty’ to be cast for the film. Swatantra Veer Savarkar will mark her first film after her stint in Bigg Boss 17. At the event, Ankita said that Randeep had researched very well about her character. She then revealed, “He told me, ‘I don’t think I want you in the film’. I was like, why? He was like, ‘You are too pretty for the character (Yamunabai Savarkar)’. I was like, ‘Please don’t say that’.”

The film also features Amit Sial. Swatantra Veer Savarkar is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 22 in Hindi and Marathi. The film has been produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Randeep Hooda, Sandeep Singh, and Yogesh Rahar.

For the uninitiated, Randeep Hooda will be essaying the role of controversial freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the movie ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’. While announcing the film in March 2022, Randeep Hooda mentioned that playing Savarkar’s role would be challenging. “There are many heroes that have played their part in getting us our independence. However, not everyone has gotten their due. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar is the most misunderstood, debated, and influential of these unsung heroes, and his story must be told. I am delighted to collaborate with Sandeep after ‘Sarabjit’, for Swatantra Veer Savarkar. It will be yet another challenging role to portray,” he said.
