The leading two-wheeler maker Jawa Yezdi has added another impressive model to its 350 Jawa series, the FJ42. The latest offering is available in six variants and has a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh in India.

The newly launched motorcycle shares the same style statement as the standard Jawa 42. However, the company has included some noticeable enhancements that make it superior than ever. It offers an impressive stance, featuring a round round-shaped-LED headlight setup, sleek turn indicators, and eye-catching alloy wheels, and has a single sitting arrangement with dual grab handles for the rear passengers.
Powertrain
It uses a bigger 334cc engine that generates a maximum power of 28.7 bhp and 29.6 Nm of peak torque, which are slightly higher compared to the Jawa 350. The unit is paired with the segment’s first 6-speed gearbox, putting it on the top shelf.
Suspension Setup
When it comes to the suspension setup, the company has included a telescopic fork at the front, while the rear is treated the dual shock absorbers at the rear. Apart from this, it also gets discs at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS.
Rivals
Interested customers also can opt for either spoked or alloy wheels. When it comes to the rival, the bike competes against the recently launched Royal EnfieldClassic 350.
